U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will visit Georgia. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the visit is scheduled for November 17-18.

"We welcome the visit of U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Georgia on November 17-18. During the visit, the Secretary of State will hold meetings with Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, President Salome Zourabichvili and Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani. Mike Pompeo will also meet with Georgian Patriarch Ilia II.

The high-level meetings will focus on the U.S.-Georgia Strategic Partnership Charter priorities and prospects for further deepening cooperation between our countries in the fields of defense and security, as well as trade and economy, democracy, peoples and culture”, reads the statement released by the Ministry.
